Parseco does Barcelona!

Just like that, the World Mobile Congress has ended. As many of you know, we attended the congress under our parent brand, Infobip.

Barcelona wasn’t just a chance to expand our business opportunities. You see, if you have a passion for the field you’re in, attending such events always brings excitement about new technologies, innovation and fresh solutions.

There were so many interesting things to see, so here’s what captivated us most:

Firefox OS – the OS itself looks really interesting. With this, everything is a web page, even if it does not differ that much from the basic Android Home screen. This is why it might be better suited for writing apps which will surely benefit developers. However, not only are they generating buzz with the OS itself, they are also getting major backers as evident here.

Ubuntu for tablets – what surprised us about Ubuntu is that, even at this stage of development, the software seems completely functional and every detail seems to be very well done. The most impressive feature is, much like the desktop version, it makes it easy to perform various tasks at once. One can have a phone app up and running while another app is running in the background or in the side view.

LG Optimus G Pro –Talk about a great smartphone… this has a very sharp 1080p display, a 5.5 inch screen, packing a whopping 3140mAh battery, Snapdragon 600 SoC, and 2GB of RAM. If you’re one for taking pictures, it also features a 13MP camera which is more than capable of filling your “Smile!” exclamation needs. Here is a review from the Android Authority.
